10 Favorite Debuts

Obviously I haven't been around long enough to witness everyone debut but it's been over four years so I figure I would list my favorite Korean debuts from January 2010 to January 2014.

**Also, I think I am going to start making more lists like this instead of just recommending songs. I might do that once in awhile but this is kind of more fun**

So, the thing is...it's extremely difficult to impress me, especially with a debut song. I don't know why but I don't suffer from that whole "rookie disease" or anything. So on the rare occasion that a debut does impress me, it really really sticks with me for a long time. All of these that I chose are songs that I still listen to or find dear to my heart. And some of them have become my favorite groups now. So, rather than finding them "catchy" songs or obsessing over the members early on, these are songs that really caught my attention as good songs and groups with potential. Some of them haven't lived up to this expectation but others have only improved since and yeaaah anyway here are what I /think/ my top 10 debuts are!

10. CN Blue - I'm a Loner
Besides the fact that their debut song is still one of my favorite of their songs, their debut performance was impressive and different, and despite the fact that they don't dance, they showed charisma and vocal and instrumental talent. In an industry filled with pop music they were able to become successful as a more rock group. Anyway, this song is a classic now and I really am thankful for their debut.
9. BB Boys - We Will Be OK
A lot of people don't know them at all but I absolutely love their debut album and song; I never get bored of their songs. Even though they don't promote anymore, I appreciate them a lot for their past songs. They really caught my attention with their album.

8. History - Dreamer
When History debuted, there were a lot of groups debuting and it was getting repetitive, but their debut song was different and incredibly impressive. I love their harmonization and the interesting concept of their music. I hope to see them do more in this style in the future.
7. NU'Est - Face
I think anyone could agree that NU'Est's best era was Face... Honestly they haven't really impressed me since, but I absolutely love this song and its message.

6. Miss A - Bad Girl Good Girl
Most people would place this #1 on lists of debuts, and while it isn't for me, I still think Miss A's debut was one of the best of all time. They haven't lived up to its standards but the dance, the song, the live performance...everything about their debut was golden.

5. EXID - Whoz That Girl
I was really sad when EXID broke up, but now that three members are in Bestie it's not so bad I suppose. Anyway this song really spoke to me for some reason, and I think it's great that they could be so good without going for an overly cutesy or overly sexy image. They found the right balance and they're very impressive vocally. Great song.

4. B1a4 - OK
This song means a lot to me. B1a4 was the first group that I followed since debut and kept up to date about for a very long time. Their debut caught my eye because it was different but good and the song is happy and catchy and just fun. I really love OK and feel like its still one of the best debut songs ever. No one really gave them credit for it but I'm glad that now they are earning their fair share of recognition with Lonely.

3. BTOB - Insane
I know I know what you are thinking. Btob isn't #1? Well honestly, Number 1 through Number 4 are all kind of the same level for me in terms of how much I appreciate them. I hadn't heard anything about btob's debut until I saw the video on my Youtube homepage, and I watched and I fell in love with the song. They impressed me instantly, which is why I think they are so dear to my heart now. They are, along with VIXX and Boyfriend, the only group that I love every single song, and along with VIXX the only group that I really feel a true connection to the members. I love Btob sooo much now and I think it is all thanks to their debut. Now Lee Changsub is my ultimate bias even. omg sobs T T

2. AA - Because I'm Crazy
I loved this song when it came out, and it doesn't have as much of a personal connection to me than Insane does but I think this song is stronger and impressive and different. I don't know why AA isn't more popular. I love them dearly and all of their songs are amazing but this is their best, in my opinion. Great performance, so much sass, and great song!

1. VIXX - Super Hero
For me, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. I can't explain the connection I have to it, nor do I really want to talk about it but VIXX's debut was my favorite of all time. I love them to death now, but nothing compares to the first time I watched the Super Hero music video. I think VIXX will always be in my heart and it's this song that started it all. I was a little late to getting into them for real, which is why btob is my #1 group above them, but their debut song beats all others for me.

Anyway, that's that.
You might disagree but hey this is just one opinion? What are your favorite debuts? Comment~~~
No one reads these posts but if you do!!! i wanna know.

I was going to add C-Real's No No No, EvoL's We are a bit different, Bangtan's No More Dream, Infinite's Come Back Again, Cross Gene's La Di Da Di, and Block B's Freeze but the ones I chose are more notable for me.

Girl Group Songs

Update: It has been a very, very long time since I have blogged because my laptop has been broken, but now it is fixed so hopefully I can update more often. I'm back in school though, so it won't be as frequent as I like. I thought instead of writing a post about what's gone on in my life lately I would make a music post since those are more fun and interesting.

Lately, I have been going through a "girl group stage" and I've been listening to a lot of these songs lately. I list a lot on here, purely because these are all of the ones that I have been listening to repetitively lately, despite the fact that they have been released at different times or whatever. I really, really like all of these songs so take a listen!

짝 1호 (Soulmate No. 1) - Five Dolls
I'll never understand how these girls sing that high. Anyway this song is great and catchy and just a really fun and different style of song. Great!

We Don't Stop - Fiestar
I don't honestly like Fiestar that much but this song I couldn't help but like, no matter how hard I tried not to. That's kind of a trend with a lot of these girl group songs to be honest. This song is catchy and addictive and even though the beginning is annoying as hell I have come to really like it for some reason. This is like my /JAM/ in the car I swear. Anyway, good song, very interesting and pretty. I love love love the chorus and their voices are really actually very good.

I Like That & Party (XXO) - Glam
When XXO came out, I found it really annoying and stupid, but for some reason I really like it now. I think it's catchy and I've come to terms with their style. When I Like That came out I was immediately impressed by it; that song is sooo good and the music video is really interesting and unique. I love it, the dance, the melodic surprises and all of it. Anyway these two songs are both really good in my opinion.

예뻐 예뻐 (Pretty Pretty) & Hate You - Ladie's Code
At first, I honestly really, really hated both of these songs. Pretty Pretty I found to be annoying, but it's annoying in a really catchy way, and I honestly find it pleasing to listen to now. I think Ladie's Code have amazing vocals, and Pretty Pretty shows them off well. It's one of those songs that you find yourself singing to yourself. Everyone I've talked to loves this song and finds it annoyingly addictive. You can tell in the line in the chorus "예뻐예뻐, 머리부터 발끗까지" that the singer is really talented. As for Hate You, I thought it was also kind of annoying but now it's soo addictive. It reminds me of Lee Hi's "Rose" a lot, but I don't think that fact detracts from the song at all.

연애의 조건 (Love Options) - Bestie
I find this song hilarious. I look at it as a criticism of girls' picky attitude when considering dates, and thinking they are too good for everyone. Honestly I believe it to be satirical, because it kind of plays on the fact that females have all these qualifications and then still ask "Why am I single?" I'm not offended by it either, because it's sooo true. Anyway, the song is besides very catchy and I love it!

Singing Got Better - Ailee
Ailee always releases extremely powerful songs with great melodies and this is no exception. Out of all the female soloists out there, I personally think she has been the least disappointing from the debut song until now. She's very consistent, and consistently good.

In the Night Sky - After School Red
Ok, I'm aware that this song is from awhile ago, but it's still gold. I think the video concept is original, the dance suits the song, and even today the song is still catchy and interesting to me, so I find myself still listening to it.

Something - Girl's Day
This song is great because it got Girl's Day a first win!!!! I'm so proud of them. I think this song is melodically irresistible; even if you don't want to like it you'll find yourself to, and Minah's vocals are really really impressive. The dance is seductive but not in a trashy way and I absolutely love all of them. So glad they are doing well.

물 좋아? (Is it Poppin') - 4minute
This is my favorite girl group song of 2013 and might be of all time? I absolutely love this song. I can't get tired of it and I love the video and the girls. Their style, the dance, etc it's just a really adorable and good song and I love it! I don't think it got enough recognition. I really do think it's a well done song and Cube did a great job of matching the song to their style, even if it isn't something they would normally release.

차 마실래? (Would You Like Some Tea) - Hello Venus
The beginning of this song made me think it would be a really lame love song but honestly this song is just absolutely adorable. I love the concept and the dance and I think their vocals are impressive as well. This song is addictive in a way you wouldn't expect. Great song!

I Got A Boy - Girl's Generation
Aside from the fact that SNSD are the most famous girl group of all time, this song has a lot of really impressive musical elements that make it a really catchy, fun song. To be honest, this song is one that I really didn't want to like, because I'm not very interested in the group, but inevitably, I've come to really enjoy the song [especially when VIXX dances to it ㅋㅋㅋ].

Well that's it ^^ Hope you enjoyed!

Ive neglected myself

I feel so indifferent to anything going on in my life but everyone else's are more.important...even /I/ am bringing myself down....to being worth nothing at all.
