Marry Him If You Dare Ending Thoughts

[SPOILER ALERT]

I understand that this drama was all about the future being "what you make of it" and how you can't change the past but the present you can and whatnot, so the fact that in the end she had the power to choose between her fates was significant but what annoyed me about this fact is that the entire drama, she is told over and over by everyone that she and Kim Shin cannot be together, and she and Kim Shin decide to be apart because of their misconceptions of the future, yet despite the fact that the future Mi Rae comes back and tries to mess up their fate, Kim Shin and she still inevitably fall in love. So what I thought was going to happen was that she was going to realize that her future is inevitable...but the drama writers took it in the opposite direction. I just don't feel like it had any consistency with the "theme" and like, I know there were plot twists and things that maybe hinted at this or whatever but at the same time I just find it strange that they didn't for sure put her with Kim Shin in the end to show that he is kind of her "inevitable true love" or that sort of thing or like her "fate." I don't dislike the direction that they took but I just hoped that they would have done that instead because there weren't any instances when she was ever able to be with Kim Shin comfortably...the one time they were even close, she turned away when he tried to kiss her so it's like, she never fully accepted him because of the fact that she was scared about the future...so shouldn't she have had a chance to ignore the future and just be with him? I don't know..it just seemed weird that they didn't ever let that happen, even if they did want to end it like they did.
